| when an artist creates a masterpiece (sculpture, painting, furniture), do they not put in the same hard work? do they not sweat and toil, hour after hour? They do. They put in the same hard hours as you.
Only they have taste. And a purpose. When someone decides to modify their car to make it their own, the little things mean a LOT. They put in just as many hours as you. They do extensive body work (but subtle)... and they create an awe inspring ride. I can place stickers all over my car and get no respect. I'll get laughed at.
I can take 4 days buffing my stock bodied Z to perfection, and next to a crowd of other Z's, mine will stand out. I have made a subtle change. You can't quite put your finger on it. But it's different. I am a master. Just because you see a mod in a magaZine, and you spend your entire allowance on recreating it, doesn't make it hip. nor cool. nor free from vocal expression. In the future, I hope you can consider these words. Perhaps persuing a different venue to express yourself (water ballet?)... warmest drunken regards,
